Dr. Umar Saif, the Caretaker Minister for Information Technology and Communication, announced that the government has granted approval for a longstanding demand of freelancers to receive remittances in Pakistan through PayPal.
In a video statement, the Minister revealed that the renowned international company, PayPal, will facilitate freelancers in receiving remittances directly into their accounts through digital communication channels.
Additionally, the government has given its approval for the National Space Policy, which permits private sector companies to utilize low orbit satellites for communication services within Pakistan.
Dr. Saif further disclosed that a substantial Pakistan Startup Fund is in the pipeline, with an allocation of two billion rupees. This initiative aims to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem by encouraging the youth to actively participate in startups and innovation.
