The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a venue change for the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Originally scheduled at Karachi’s National Stadium, the match will now be played in Rawalpindi due to ongoing renovations.
Rawalpindi will host both matches in the series, ensuring smooth proceedings without any infrastructure issues. While the PCB initially considered holding the Karachi Test behind closed doors, they ultimately decided that relocating the match was the best course of action to ensure optimal playing conditions.
The series will kick off on August 21, with the second Test set for August 30. Rawalpindi, a well-established cricket venue, has a history of successfully hosting international matches and is fully prepared to host both Test matches.
Fans and players now turn their focus to Rawalpindi, where an exciting series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is expected.
