Former chief minister and president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resigned from party offices.
According to sources, the PTI leader stated that he had previously condemned the attacks on military installations on May 9 following the incarceration of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Pervez Khattak stated that he will make a decision on his future plans after consulting with colleagues. What occurred on May 9 was detrimental to the country and should not be repeated.
He stated that it is impossible for him to continue holding a party post, which is why he announced his retirement as president of the PTI KP.
Previously, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Amir Bakhsh Bhutto and Allah Bux Unar, along with others, left the party.
