LAHORE: The Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) is implementing the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at 16 of the province’s major hospitals at Rs50.10 million. The Punjab Information and Technology Board (PITB) will monitor the project’s implementation.
The hospitals included (Social Security Hospital (SSH) Multan Road Lahore, (Maternity and New Born Childcare Hospital (MNCH) Faisalabad, SSH Shandara, SSH Sheikhupura, SSH Gujranwala, SSH Sialkot, SSH Okara, SSH Islamabad, SSH Gujrat, SSH Kot Lakhpat, SSH Jauharabad, SSH Jarranwala, Khawaja Fareed Social Security Hospital (KFSSH) Multan, SSH Faisalabad, SSH Sahiwal, and SSH Jhang.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2022.
According to the project’s procurement plan, Core i-5 laptops will cost Rs11.62 million, scanners will cost Rs7.44 million, Android phones will cost Rs1.2 million, and Turnkey Conference Ro Solution will cost Rs2.60 million, Palm Print Devices will cost Rs5.95 million, and Core i-5 Desktops will cost Rs3.18 million. For DR Server Room Solution and Client Site (hospital) Server Room Solution, up to Rs5.01 million.
Different hardware, software, and anti-viruses were among the other purchase components.
