After Skardu, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced direct flights from Islamabad to Gilgit.
To assist tourists, the PIA official stated that the national flag carrier will fly two flights daily from Islamabad Airport to Gilgit.
The decision was made in response to an increase in the number of tourists owing to school vacations.
Previously, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) began direct flights between Karachi and Skardu following the inauguration of direct flights from Lahore.
PK-454, the first PIA aircraft between Karachi and the tourist destination Skardu, took off today with over 150 people on board.
According to a representative for the national flag carrier, the number of passengers on Skardu flights surged owing to school vacations. It goes on to say that the airline has decided to start flights from Lahore and Karachi to Skardu.
