Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-854 arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport on Sunday, formally resuming its weekly passenger flight to China.
PIA Country Manager Bilal Afzal shared details, saying that the national flag carrier would run one weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route every Sunday.
According to APP, he stated that travelers going by PIA can now fly from Pakistan to 16 fascinating cities in China via Beijing in collaboration with Air China.
Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Changchun, Hangzhou, Harbin, and other Chinese cities are among them.
Afzal said that over 200 passengers are traveling on the return flight which left Beijing for Islamabad at 21:22 today.
20% discount for students
In terms of discounts, he stated that PIA provides a 20% discount for students, as well as free luggage allowances of 80 Kg for economy class and 100 Kg for executive economy on flights between Pakistan and China.
The one-way trip from Beijing to Islamabad costs RMB 3,814 and the return ticket costs RMB 5,685.
Passengers might get further more savings if they buy their tickets online.
The reintroduction of PIA flights between Pakistan and China has been welcomed by the Pakistani population in China, particularly businesspeople, and students.
