Following Eid holidays, the Pakistani rupee opened with a slight uptick against the US dollar, appreciating by 0.06% in early trading hours in the inter-bank market on Monday.
By 10 am, the rupee was at 277.78, showing a gain of Re0.16 against the greenback.
Throughout the previous two sessions of the week, the rupee maintained relative stability against the US dollar.
Last Tuesday, the local currency closed at 277.94, just slightly above the 277.93 mark from the previous week’s closure against the greenback.
