PM appreciate GO Petroleum for giving 50% salary increase

Prime Minister appreciated GO petroleum on agreeing to give 50% salary increment to their employees. Prime Minister shared in a tweet.

I appreciate GO petroleum for responding to my call & agreeing to give a 50% salary increase to their employees. I am urging other companies to follow this example.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said,” I appreciate GO petroleum for responding to my call.”

ARY Digital Network

Previously, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday lauded President and CEO ARY for raising the salaries of employees.

Salman Iqbal had announced to give a raise of 80% to ARY employees with a salary of up to 20k.

Earlier, PM made an appeal to all top corporations in Pakistan to increase the salaries of their employees. Because they registered a record profit worth Rs950 billion in 2021.

Serena Air

The Prime minister appreciated Serene Air in a tweet last Saturday. Serena Air announced a 44% salary increment for its low-paid employees. And they announced a 15-25% salary increment for other employees as well.

I appreciate Serene Air's AVM Safdar(R) for responding to my call & announcing pay rise of 44% for low paid employees & 15-25% for other employees. I urge the top 100 corporations in Pak, who made record profits of Rs.950 bn in the last yr, to also raise their employees salaries.

Moreover, Prime Minister urged the top 100 corporations in the country, who made record profits of Rs950 billion last year, to also raise their employees’ salaries.

Earlier, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib also thanked the companies for increasing the salaries of their workers on the appeal of PM Imran.

Moreover, Farrukh Habib said Despite the effects of the Corona epidemic, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s best economic policies are beginning to bear fruit. Businesses that have made a profit are now giving the benefit to their employees by increasing their salaries at the special request of the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, Farrukh Habib also extended gratitude to Serene Airline for raising the salaries of their workers.

Federal Minister Shaukat Tarin said that despite 4 big crises the country had to face during the past 3.5 years, the economy was heading in the right direction. Furthermore, the economy grew 5.37% during FY21. It was expected to grow by 5% during the current year.
