Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has underscored the need for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt in the economic field.
Speaking with Tarek Mohamed Dahroug of Egypt, who paid him a visit in Islamabad on Thursday, he also underlined the value of stronger leadership participation, interpersonal connections, and strengthened institutional ties.
During the meeting, they discussed further strengthening of Pakistan-Egypt relations and the upcoming COP-27 in Egypt.
Recalling his phone conversation with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Egypt’s assistance and solidarity in the aftermath of Pakistan’s destruction by floods caused by climate change.
