“PM Imran Khan has inaugurated Lahore Technopolis today in Lahore, which is envisioned to create a synergized ecosystem of academia, innovation, and the tech industry, to promote research, innovation, technology development and accelerate the tech transformation process in Pakistan,” Pakistan’s Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA said in a tweet.
Imran Khan said that the technology sector could alone pay off the entire debt of the country.
Pakistan’s Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA also said in a tweet, that:
“The Lahore Technopolis will serve as a diverse innovation hub for technology development in Pakistan. The aim is to create a knowledge ecosystem that will support and provide facilities to the tech industry, including startups, SMEs, and multinational tech companies.”
Pakistan’s Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA assured that:
“By strengthening the linkages between the technology industry, academia, and industry, Lahore Technopolis will enable technology transfer, knowledge sharing, job creation, entrepreneurship, investment promotion, and women empowerment in the tech sector.”
Pakistan’s Special Technology Zones Authority – STZA further said in a tweet, that:
“The Lahore Technopolis will have a complete tech ecosystem to foster innovation, research, and development, human capital development, import-substitution, and skills development. The STZs will play a significant role in bringing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to Pakistan, reducing the current account deficit, and opening strategic growth opportunities for the tech sector in the country.”
