In addition to other federal cabinet members, the prime minister is currently speaking at a press conference in Islamabad.
His media appearance comes after Pakistan received assurances of $10 billion from donor nations in Geneva.
The prime minister stated at the start of the press conference that Pakistan experienced “success” at the Geneva summit.
The Islamic Development Bank (ADB) held a significant share of the entire financial promise, with $4.2 billion, he claimed. “Be it a bilateral or international gift, a figure of $9.7 billion is the whole amount [that was pledged],” he stated.
He declared that the government will continue to work to assist those affected by the floods up until they were given new housing.
