PM Shehbaz also praised the efforts of Chinese and Pakistani engineers and workers for delivering a world-class facility, which he described as “another remarkable gift from China.”
In his remarks, Chinese Premier Li Qiang congratulated Pakistan on the completion of the airport, describing it as a manifestation of the strength of Pak-China friendship. He noted that the project was a vital step toward enhancing regional connectivity, promoting port activities, and further integrating regional economies.
Premier Li reiterated China’s commitment to working closely with Pakistan under the Belt and Road Initiative, ensuring high standards, sustainability, and shared benefits.
