Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for a day-long visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This marks the Prime Minister’s inaugural visit to the UAE since assuming office.
During the trip, Prime Minister Shehbaz will engage in a one-on-one meeting with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to explore avenues for further enhancing Pak-UAE bilateral relations.
Additionally, he is scheduled to convene with Pakistani and UAE entrepreneurs and investors, particularly focusing on the Information Technology sector. Furthermore, meetings with high-ranking UAE government officials and business leaders are also on the agenda.
The Prime Minister’s visit underscores the commencement of a new chapter in the enduring fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
His interactions with key Emirati figures and the business community signify the diplomatic accomplishments of the government and the escalating interest of friendly nations in investing in Pakistan.
Accompanying the Prime Minister on this significant visit are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.
