Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the Bhara Kahu bypass in Islamabad on Thursday and laid the groundwork for the Serena Chowk underpass.
The prime minister stated during the ceremony that the project was finished at a record speed of 9 months. He claims that the bypass will reduce travel time and promote tourism.
“The Barakahu Bypass was built in a record-breaking 9 months.” It will reduce travel time, remove barriers, and promote tourist and everyday travel to KPK and AJK,” the prime minister added.
The premier asked officials to make this route green, clean, and lovely by landscaping it. He also commended the army chief for his contribution to the effective completion of the Bhara Kahu bypass project.
“I would like to thank COAS General Asim Munir and the NLC for devoting time, resources, and energy to the realisation of the project,” PM Shehbaz stated.
“I am hopeful that our political leadership and government departments will make this bypass as beautiful as the road structures and landscape of Baku, Azerbaijan.”
“We must reach a political consensus, and every institution in Pakistan must work selflessly, with zeal and commitment, to contribute to Pakistan’s development,” he continued.
It is worth mentioning that the enormous 5.4-kilometer-long project includes a 1350-meter-long overhead bridge. People in Murree, Galyat, Azad Jammu and Kashmir will benefit from the bypass.
