During his day-long visit to Gwadar on Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the ground-breaking ceremonies for various key development projects.
The 102-kilometre Khuzdar-Basima Road, the 55 km Awaran Road, and the Jhaljao Road were among the significant projects announced, all aimed at improving transit and connectivity in the area.
During the occasion, the New Gwadar Airport, a critical infrastructural milestone, was also inaugurated, demonstrating the government’s commitment to improving regional air connectivity.
Furthermore, the 132 KV Panjgur-Nag-Basima-Nal Transmission Line was prioritized to increase power distribution in the region.
During his visit to Gwadar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also present relief checks to deserving fishermen and laptop computers to bright Gwadar University students.
