At a ceremony in Islamabad on Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched the “Salam Pakistan” brand and “e-Portal” to encourage tourism in Pakistan.
Speaking at the event, he stated that Pakistan is a great spot for promoting tourism, culture, and legacy.
We will invite our fraternal countries and countries that have excelled in tourism, culture, crafts, and other disciplines to visit Pakistan and highlight the richness of the tourism sector, he said.
According to the prime minister, Pakistan is endowed with abundant natural resources and scenic beauty throughout its northern regions, which can be translated into excellent chances to boost tourism in the country.
Salam Pakistan Brand
The “Salam Pakistan” brand and “e-Portal” will assist showcase Pakistan’s diversity in tourism at an international level, increasing travelers’ interest in this industry from across the world.
K2, Gwadar, Ziarat Valley, Uch Sharif, Deosai National Park, Kalash Valley, Takht Bhai, Hingol National Park, Shandur Pass, Kambhar Lake, Fairy Meadows, Ratti Gali, Lahore Fort, Makli Graveyard, Derawar For, Rohtas Fort, Kumrat Valley, Hunza Valley, and Mohenjo-Daro are among the top 20 tourist destinations in Pakistan.
It informs visitors about beaches and waterfalls, nature and landscape, festivals, spiritual tourism, and eco-tourism.
