Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will inaugurate Greenline Train today (Friday), which will run between Islamabad and Karachi.
A press release from Pakistan Railways says that the Green Line train will make stops on the way in Rawalpindi, Chaklala, Lahore, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rohri, Hyderabad, and Drug Road after leaving from Margalla station.
New coaches that were recently acquired from China will be used to operate this train. The Green Line’s return time is set at 22 hours and will be gradually reduced.
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and supper will be supplied to passengers during the journey as per the instructions of Minister of Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq.
Apart from this, high quality bedding and utility kit will also be provided to the passengers.
