Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a message from his Qatari counterpart on Thursday, highlighting opportunities for strengthening bilateral relations.
According to Qatari newswire QNA, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani sent a written message to Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, focusing on bilateral relations and avenues for their enhancement.
The message was conveyed to PM Sharif by the visiting Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, who was accompanied by a delegation from the Qatar Investment Authority.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed the desire of his government to see Qatar expand its investment portfolio in Pakistan, particularly in priority sectors. He also extended an offer of facilitation through the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
