On Sunday, in honor of Independence Day, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will debut the newly recorded national anthem that was created using advanced technologies.
After Liaquat Ali Khan, he is the second elected prime minister to receive this special distinction.
After 68 years, the National Anthem was re-recorded with the help of 155 singers, 48 musicians, and 6 bandmasters.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with a number of agencies, including ISPR and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The brass bands of all three armed forces also participated in this national effort.
The new compositions, recorded with excellent imaging carry a rainbow of all the cultural and regional colours of Pakistan.
During the PML-prior N’s administration, the national anthem was re-recorded starting in August 2017.
Maryam Aurangzeb initiated the project as soon as she took over the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s portfolio in April of this year.
