Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card Program in Bahawalpur Division tomorrow.
Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the Sehat card in Bahawalpur.
CEO of Punjab Health Initiative Management Company, Dr. Ali Razaque said in an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan.
He told that under PM’s vision of a welfare state, universal health program, every family will be given Sehat Card. They will get free medical facilities under the phased program by thirty-first March.
He said that after the launching of this revolutionary program, the population of three districts of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bahawalnagar will get free medical indoor treatment facilities.
Sehat card will work in ninety-eight hospitals. They include eighteen government and eighty-one private hospitals free of cost.
Responding to a question, Dr. Ali Razaque told that the holder of the card can get the free medical facility for major diseases including cancer, hepatitis, diabetes, heart-related ailments, thalassemia, HIV-Aids, kidney transplantation, gynecology related and other major diseases up to the tune of one million Pakistani rupees annually.
