Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, has officially completed his term, which ends today.
According to reports, Dr. Arif Alvi was democratically elected and became the presidency on September 9, 2018. President Alvi will continue to preside over the country until a new president is elected.
President Alvi has returned to Islamabad following his official visit to Lahore to carry out the usual functions of the president.
It is important to note that former Federal Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani met extensively with President Alvi.
In this regard, former minister Fawad Chaudhry stated in a message on X [formerly known as Twitter] that “Today President Dr. Arif Alvi completes five years of his presidency, despite challenging times, the president stood tall and restored the respect and dignity of the office.”
