Pakistan’s strategic alliance with China would be further strengthened, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Today in Islamabad, he was speaking with a group from the China National Nuclear Corporation.
The K-3 Nuclear Power Plant, which was built in Karachi with Chinese assistance, will be inaugurated tomorrow, according to the prime minister.
According to him, this project will expand Karachi’s nuclear power reactors’ overall capacity to 2200 megawatts of electricity generation. China, according to Shehbaz Sharif, is Pakistan’s tried-and-true ally, and a strategic alliance between the two nations is ideal. He claimed that the fact that China invested billions of dollars in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is evidence of the close ties between the two nations.
The Prime Minister claimed that various CPEC projects had contributed a significant contribution to reducing Pakistan’s electricity shortage. During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on China’s investment in nuclear energy projects in Pakistan.
