The government will safeguard the rights of all religious minorities and provide a safe environment for them, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Speaking at a Christmas celebration in Islamabad, he declared that we want Pakistan to advance in accordance with the vision of Quaid e Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal, who urged harmony and compassion among all religions.
According to the Pakistani constitution, all members of the nation’s religions enjoy equal legal and political rights and are welcome to participate in all aspects of society, according to the prime minister.
He congratulated the Christian community on Christmas and remarked that we all participate in their joy on this joyous occasion.
The Prime Minister assured that as per the demand of the religious minorities, a national minority commission would be formed after legislation in the Parliament.
The Prime Minister along with bishops and leaders of the Christian community and other minorities also cut a Christmas cake on the occasion.
