Punjab Governor, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said the dream of provision of clean drinking water is being fulfilled due to the prudent policies of the government and honest collaboration of philanthropists.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with inauguration of filtration plants in Gujar Khan on Thursday, he said that seven filtration plants have been installed in the city to provide clean drinking water to people.
He further said that 10.5 million people will have the facility of clean drinking water in the next few months.
The Governor stressed the need to work for welfare of the poor people
