The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) benchmark KSE-100 index fell more than 800 points during intraday trade on Tuesday.
According to the market, the PSX plummeted 847 points, while the 100 index fell below 64,000 points.
Around 10:53 a.m., the market was reported to be trading at 63,421.
On Monday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) 100-index fell 368.26 points to settle at 64,269.38 points, indicating a bearish trend.
During the day, 382,012,304 shares worth Rs.14.076 billion were traded, compared to 643,307,931 shares worth Rs.20.021 billion the previous day.
363 businesses traded their shares on the stock exchange, with 96 recording gains and 249 suffering losses, while the share prices of 18 stayed steady.
