The warning urges drivers to use caution when heading to flood-affected areas on highways and motorways, according to details.
Additionally, it will make the general public aware of the need to avoid from unnecessary travel in areas where flood warnings have been issued.
According to officials, the number of fatalities caused by extensive flooding in the nation has surpassed 1,000 since mid-June. Nearly 120 people have died in the past day as a result of flooding, according to data given by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Floods have destroyed over 150 bridges since June 14, and 3,451 kilometers of roads have been completely destroyed or only partially damaged.
