PTA Received Over 200,000 Complaints During the Last Year

During 200,000 complaints from telecom users were submitted to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) over the course of the previous year.

The authority, from July 2021 to June 2022, received 218,621 complaints from telecom consumers. 83,641 of the 218,621 complaints have been addressed, 65,780 have been dismissed, and 20,984 have only been partially resolved.

Consumers provided PTA with inadequate information in 37, 810 complaints, while 9, 007 complaints were dismissed for a variety of reasons.
