Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 at its Board of Directors’ meeting held in Islamabad on July 18, 2022.
The company’s performance demonstrates a continued commitment to providing leading telecom and ICT services in Pakistan.
PTCL Group has been able to maintain its growth momentum in the first six months of 2022, which has solidified its position as an integrated telecom provider in Pakistan.
Revenue growth is largely driven by strong performance in the consumer segment, including fixed broadband, mobile data, and business solutions.
This, along with microfinance services, helped the Group achieve 5.7% growth in revenue over the comparative period, despite challenges such as an increase in Advance Income Tax (AIT) and a reduction in Mobile Termination Rates (MTR).
