On Monday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) declared a coalition with the Sunni Ittehad Council and Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM).
The announcement was delivered by Barrister Gohar, accompanied by MWM chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Sunni Ittehad Council’s leader Sahibzada Hamid Raza, and Omar Ayub Khan.
Barrister Gohar stated that independent candidates supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, positioned in the central, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will align themselves with the Sunni Ittehad Council.
This decision materialized after extensive deliberations between PTI, SIC, and MWM, he further mentioned.
He confirmed that the PTI candidates would submit their affiliation documents with the Sunni Ittehad Council to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) today.
