The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has introduced the Mazdoor Card for laborers in Punjab.
According to information, the Mazdoor Card will benefit 6.8 million heirs enrolled with the Punjab Social Security administration as well as 1.2 million underprivileged laborers.
A debit card and identity code can both be used with the Mazdoor Card. The card will also be accepted at all provincially-affiliated private institutions as well as hospitals and pharmacies run by the Social Security Institute.
A number of government loan programs including the Sehat Sahulat Card will be connected to the Mazdoor Card.
Additionally, as part of the effort, 1.2 million worker bank accounts are being opened. Through the Punjab Mazdoor Card, the workers will receive benefits from the Industrial Workers’ Housing Schemes and Akhuwat.
There will be a number of additional advantages, including up to a 30% discount on the products of more than 130 businesses. Additionally, the workers will receive discounts on trains, shops, and private schools for the education of their kids.
