The Government of Punjab on Wednesday announced a 10-day Eid holiday for schools across the province.
Secretary of School Education, Khalid Nazir Wattoo, announced on Wednesday that the holidays will begin on March 28 and continue until April 6. Schools are set to reopen on April 7, marking the start of the new academic year.
Additionally, he mentioned that the annual exam results will be announced on April 4.
While Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on March 31, the federal government has granted only three days of Eid holidays for government employees. Meanwhile, Sindh and other provinces may also extend school and college holidays.
It is worth noting that private educational institutions in Pakistan often set their own holiday schedules.
