Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Abdul Aziz has been appointed as the Chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) by the Governor of Punjab, Baligh Ur Rehman, on Tuesday.
According to sources Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Abdul Aziz will serve as the PPSC Chairman for the next three years.
The TV channel further reported that the new PPSC chairman will receive a monthly salary under the MP-I Pay Package, exceeding Rs900,000.
Former PPSC Chairman, Lieutenant General (Retired) Malik Zafar Iqbal, completed his three-year tenure in February 2024.
Following the governor’s directive, the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) issued a formal notification appointing Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Abdul Aziz as the new PPSC chairman on Tuesday.
