140 departments of the Punjab government have registered accounts on the Punjab Job Portal, which has also received over a million online applications for open posts.
PITB IT-Operations Director General Faisal Yousaf and other team members attended the meeting, which was presided over by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Syed Bilal Haider and covered a progress assessment.
The Punjab Job Web, built by PITB, has so far registered more than 250,000 individuals who have made their profiles on the portal, the meeting was informed.
The Punjab Job Portal, according to PITB Chairman Syed Bilal Haider, has made it possible for residents of the province to apply for jobs at any time of day or night in a variety of government agencies without having to go in person. He added that the job platform has eliminated the need for a middleman in the hiring process, hence reducing the likelihood of fraud and corruption.
It should be noted that the portal was created as a single application for all Punjab government jobs, making it easier for applicants to determine their suitability for the open positions.
Additionally, it has a search option that makes it simple to find job postings that match your desired years of experience, educational background, or target industry.
