Inspector General Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has affirmed the readiness of the Punjab Police to ensure security during the upcoming general elections.
In his statement, he mentioned that a total of 130,000 police personnel, including 10,000 women officers, are being allocated duties for the electoral process.
Dr. Usman Anwar provided assurance that the law and order situation throughout the province is currently satisfactory. He emphasized that strict action will be taken against any individuals found violating the law during the election period.
