Rabia Zakir, a Pakistani painter, became the first international artist to have a solo display in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, this week on International Women’s Day.
Rabia Zakir’s portraits of Arab leaders are quite popular, she has painted portraits of the Saudi crown prince and individuals of the royal families of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
Her portraits and landscapes can be found in 50 Pakistani embassies, the majority of which are from Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
