Ramiz Raja, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has promised to create a top-notch rehabilitation facility in Pakistan for all of the nation’s athletes.
The PCB head tweeted on Wednesday that the organization would build a top-notch rehabilitation center in the nation that would be accessible to all national athletes, not only cricket players.
Due to the fact that many national athletes currently need to fly abroad for injury rehabilitation, the effort is meant to help them in the future.
Chairman PCB also thanked Dr. Zafar and his staff for caring for national cricketers Shaheen Afridi and Fakhar Zaman in London as they finished their recoveries.
“A big shout out to Dr. Zafar & his team at Crystal Palace Football Club for looking after our heroes Fakhar and Afridi. Indebted! To our fans we will set up a world-class rehab center here inshallah that will look after all athletes & not cricketers only.” wrote Ramiz on Twitter.
Earlier on Tuesday, PCB confirmed that the left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has attained complete recovery and will be available for selection in the side’s warm-up matches of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
