The Red Magic 6s Pro is the latest addition to Nubia’s Red Magic family of gaming phones. The updated model has a higher-touch sampling rate, better cooling, and a new chipset with a quicker CPU and enhanced AI. The remainder of the specs is identical to the original Red Magic 6.
The screen is the same, featuring a 6.8” AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and 8-bit colors. Touchscreen sampling speed has been increased to 720Hz, with support for several fingers. A new trigger at the rear of the phone may also be modified for various tasks.
The Snapdragon 888+ has replaced the original Red Magic 6 series’ vanilla Snapdragon 888. This chipset has a faster CPU and better AI, but the ram options remain the same, with 8/12/16GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB storage.
The internals is kept cool using innovative Phase Change Materials (PCM), which can store heat and gently release it later. This avoids heat spikes produced by lengthy periods of gameplay. The 64MP triple camera system on the back remains, as does the 8MP front camera. The battery has a capacity of 5,050 mAh and supports 65W quick charge.
The Red Magic 6s Pro will be priced beginning at $620 and going up to $1000 for greater memory choices.
