Redmi is preparing many new phones, one of which has recently been revealed by the renowned source Digital Chat Station. His most recent Weibo leak indicates that a Redmi phone powered by the Snapdragon 870 and with a 120Hz OLED display is on the way.
Some speculate that it is a new Redmi K40 model, while others speculate that it will be part of the forthcoming K50 series.
Other facts of the mystery Redmi gadget have also been provided by the tipper. He claims it will have a 6.7-inch screen with a 1080p resolution. According to the source, the rear will include a 50MP primary camera that is neither huge nor tiny.
Last but not least, he anticipates that this handset will be available next year, so don’t hold your exhalation. He also mentions that it has the model number SM8250, implying that it is most likely a Redmi K50 phone.
The Redmi K series phones are often the less expensive alternatives to Xiaomi’s flagship Mi range. However, given that Xiaomi has abandoned the “Mi” branding from its devices, we anticipate it will be referred as simply as the Xiaomi 12. It, like all of its predecessors, is scheduled to be released early next year.
