Multiple Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) cargoes have just arrived in Pakistan, providing much-needed respite to the country’s gas crisis.
Officials from the petroleum industry have verified that including RLNG in the gas, system was critical in resolving the situation.
According to petroleum officials, including RLNG in the petrol system has been a game changer. The RLNG has been effectively integrated into existing infrastructure, assuring a consistent gas supply to the electricity and fertilizer industries, both of which are critical to the country’s economy.
Furthermore, domestic consumers have seen an improvement in gas pressure in their homes.
According to petroleum officials, there is now an ample supply of 1800 million cubic feet of petrol in the system. This enhanced gas availability reflects the authorities’ efforts to address the situation as soon as possible.
