A Mother and Child Hospital with the capacity of 200 Beds is under construction at a cost of 5.3 Billion Rupees in the Attock district.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar shared a tweet on Friday.
According to the plans, this 200 bedded Project will complete in July-August 2023.
The Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP) undertook this project. They have completed all the plans of the hospital.
The hospital includes a Gynae & Obstetrics block of 120 beds and 6 chairs for the Indoor/ Daycare/ Anemia treatment room. Gynae emergency, labor room, antenatal ward, postnatal ward, and gynae ward will each have 20 beds appointed to them. HDU will have 10 special beds. While ICU will contain 5 beds. The gynae & obstetrics will also have Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) with 5 beds appointed to it.
The hospital will also have a PAEDS block of 80 beds. 20 Emergency beds will be designated for PAEDS and Neonatal cases. While paeds indoors will have 24 beds. Nursery/neonatology will have 20 designated beds. While Paeds ICU will have 6 designated beds. While HDU/ICU of Neonatal will have 20 beds.
Moreover, Mother and Child hospital Attock will also have clinical pathology, Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, CSSD, Kitchen, Laundry, Mortuary, and blood bank.
