Sahiwal Coal power plants in Pakistan, operating with lowest, almost zero carbon emissions, according to the report released by Gwadar Pro on Friday.
The climate change, that is partially caused by the carbon dioxide emissions in the air from the coal-fired power plants has been the under-consideration worldwide in recent years including Pakistan and China.
China’s coal-fired power plants in Pakistan, according to a study published by Gwadar Pro on Friday, provided for ultra-low, if not zero, carbon emissions.
CHNG’s spokesperson, Jia YuanPei, said, “Despite the fact that IGCC is a demonstration project, it demonstrates to us that zero carbon emissions are feasible. We’re working on making it replicable and generalizable so that our other coal-fired power plants, including the Sahiwal project, will achieve zero carbon emissions.”
