Saudi Arabia’s five major companies are set to create a substantial number of job opportunities for Pakistan, with hundreds of thousands of positions recently announced.

As part of the agreement, 15,000 to 20,000 job opportunities will be made available for Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia, spanning various sectors such as construction, health, finance, engineering, IT, and overhead transmission.

The deal involves collaboration with prominent Saudi construction firms, including Nisma Partner, Al-Rashid Group, Mahara Human Rahsos, Al-Bwani, and Al-Fanar companies, which have committed to recruiting a significant workforce from Pakistan. The recruitment process will be facilitated through the Overseas Employment Corporation.

The agreements were formalized in Riyadh, with Prime Minister Special Assistant Jawad Sohrab Malik signing on behalf of Pakistan. This collaboration not only presents substantial employment prospects for the Pakistani workforce but is also expected to contribute to an increase in domestic remittances.

The comprehensive agreements cover diverse sectors, reflecting a multi-faceted approach to employment opportunities for Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia. The involvement of various industries, including construction, healthcare, finance, engineering, IT, and overhead transmission, demonstrates the breadth of employment options available under this initiative. This development is anticipated to strengthen economic ties between the two countries while providing valuable opportunities for skilled professionals and workers from Pakistan.
