The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has extended an invitation for interested individuals, including foreigners such as Pakistanis, to apply for seasonal employment opportunities during the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage in 2024.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially announced the commencement of applications for seasonal positions related to the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage, which is anticipated to host approximately 2 million Muslims from various parts of the world.
Prospective candidates can submit their applications through the ministry’s website, with the application window set to remain open until March 28th.
These positions will primarily be located in Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah, offering a wide range of employment opportunities crucial for the smooth facilitation of the Hajj pilgrimage—an essential aspect of Islam.
The available roles encompass various positions, including supervisors for Hajj and Umrah, customer service representatives, mechanical technicians, engineers, and drivers.
It’s important to note that the upcoming Hajj is scheduled for June, and the kingdom has already finalized Hajj agreements in preparation for the event. The first Hajj flight has already arrived in the kingdom, marking the beginning of a process that will continue in the months ahead.
Furthermore, the kingdom is currently welcoming Muslim pilgrims for the Umrah season, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, which typically witnesses a significant increase in the number of Muslims visiting the country.
