Shehbaz Sharif has been sworn in as Pakistan’s 24th Prime Minister, taking the oath in a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadar administered by President Arif Alvi.
The event was attended by various dignitaries, including caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chief Ministers, governors, and others. Shehbaz Sharif secured the position with 201 votes against his opponent Omar Ayub Khan’s 92 votes.
