Shipping activity at Port Qasim has been reported, with five vessels—Maersk Kinloss, Phoenician-M, Clipper Trent, Ice Fighter, and Acadia Park—scheduled to load and offload containers, rice, fuel oil, and chemicals at the Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminals, FOTCO Oil Terminal, and Engro Vopak Terminal on Tuesday.
Additionally, two more ships, Centurion Signifer, and Al-Areesh, carrying coal and LNG, arrived at the outer anchorage in the last 24 hours. A total of eight ships were engaged at the port’s berths during this period. Three vessels—MSC Positano, Maersk Kinloss, and Ice Fighter—are expected to set sail today.
The port handled a cargo volume of 95,743 tonnes, which included 41,664 tonnes of imports and 54,079 tonnes of exports, distributed across 3,919 containers (1,800 TEUs for imports and 2,119 TEUs for exports).
Currently, nine ships are at the Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim. Among them, Khairpur, Al-Areesh, Centurion, and Maersk Cabo Verde, carrying gasoline, LNG, coal, and containers, are expected to dock at FOTCO, PGPCL, PIBT, and QICT today. Furthermore, the container ship Hyundai Hong Kong is scheduled to arrive at the port on Thursday, October 3rd.
