He announced this on Twitter and dedicated his team’s victory in the tournament, Mirpur Royal, to the nation’s flood victims.
Additionally, he said that he would contribute his winning prize money to the “flood affectees” and urged everyone to work together as a nation to get through this difficult period.
It is important to note that flood-related damage has affected the entire nation, causing thousands of people to be displaced, their homes to be destroyed, and infrastructure damage.
In the areas affected by the flooding, relief efforts are being carried out by the responsible authorities.
Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik-led Mirpur Royals bagged the champion’s title of the Kashmir Premier League season two after the final match against Bagh Stallions was washed out by rain on Friday.
The KPL’s management stated that the Mirpur Royals were titled as champions in accordance with the rules of the tournament.
