In collaboration with NPAK Energy, the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has successfully established a one-megawatt solar power plant in the Hunza district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
This initiative aims to address the energy deficit in the region and provide a consistent power supply to the residents.
Positioned at an elevation of 2,800 meters above sea level, the solar plant, equipped with over 2,300 solar panels, is projected to produce 1,600 megawatt-hours of electricity each year for local households and industries in the valleys.
This sustainable energy project contributes significantly to meeting the power needs of the area.
