To attend the birth celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak at Nankana Sahib, some 3,000 Sikh Yatrees from India crossed the Wagah Border on Sunday.

The Yatrees were cordially welcomed at the Wagha Border by Additional Secretary Shrines, Rana Shahid, President of the Sikh Parbandhak Committee, Sardar Amar Singh, and government representatives.

Three special trains for Sikh Yatrees have been operated by Pakistan Railways between Wagha and Nankana Sahib stations.
On the fifteenth of this month, the Yatrees will return to India.
