Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced a Ramzan package of over twenty-two billion rupees to provide relief to the people of the province during the holy month of Ramzan.
Chairing a meeting on price control in Karachi this morning, he also approved the provision of a cash amount of five thousand rupees to sixty percent of the province’s population with minimum wage.
This cash assistance will benefit 3.5 million households earning a minimum wage of thirty-two thousand rupees per month.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for a crackdown against hoarders and profiteers in the province.
Syed Murad Ali Shah directed district administrations to ensure the implementation of government-fixed rates for essential commodities used daily.
