The education department in Sindh has made the decision to fire 40 ghost teachers. The Sindh education department has announced that 40 teachers, along with support personnel and office staff, will be let go.
The fired teachers include 4 guards, 1 junior clerk, 1 lane assistant, 17 junior school teachers, 8 higher school teachers, and 8 higher school teachers.
These 40 fake teachers were given a show-cause notice. The education department decided to fire them after receiving no reaction. Eight ghost teachers in the province had already been let go by the Sindh education department.
Akbar Leghari, eight foreign-based teachers, were fired from their positions. The instructors who were fired from their jobs had been paid for the previous two years. The secretary added that Taluka education officers are drawing attention to the ghost teachers across the province. The secretary threatened the fake teachers with harsh punishment.
